Southtech Partners with B2B Matchmaking Firm Accelerance, Inc.


6 November, 2018, Dhaka: As a part of the CEO Outreach programme jointly held by Boston Consulting Group (BCG), the US based global management consulting firm and the Government of Bangladesh, Southtech Limited has partnered with Accelerance, Inc., a leading consulting firm for software outsourcing strategies.

In an effort to boost the Bangladeshi IT sector, BCG was appointed to undertake international business-to-business (B2B) development and matchmaking programmes among IT firms and CEOs. Based on this initiative, Accelerance, a US-based B2B matchmaking firm, has signed an agreement with Southtech Limited to become a partner to the Bangladesh IT industry for the next 3 years. Southtech Limited are one of only five software companies in Bangladesh chosen to partner with Accelerance. This collaboration opens up opportunities for Bangladeshi IT firms to be promoted in the European, Australian, North and South American markets.

Accelerance, Inc., has operations in 40 countries with 25,000+ developers on their roster. They generate more than USD75M in deal revenue for their partners annually and has assessed more than 8,000 software development companies around the world. Southtech hosted senior members of the Accelerance team in their office as a part of an extensive vetting program organised by BCG. Andy Hilliard, President and Chief Revenue Officer, Jim Marascio, Chief Delivery Officer and Hugh Morgan, Vice President, Strategy were among the team who visited Southtech Limited during their visit in Dhaka.

As a part of their partnership, the Accelerance team will be recommending potential customers looking for offshore vendors to Southtech Limited. The recommendations will be based on the technical and business capabilities of the company. Accelerance will also be helping Southtech to bid in RFPs as well as coach them on how to construct strong RFP responses.
