the whitepaper launch on Financial Inclusion

One of the highlights of the event was the launch of the whitepaper titled“SOS Signals from Six Areas that Financial Inclusion Could Rescue”.

Author of Whitepaper

Shafia Khaled, author of the whitepaper and Marketing Coordinator at Southtech, launched the whitepaper on the state of financial inclusion after sharing her thoughts on the overall industry scenario.

“Much of the ongoing and upcoming global crisis can be mitigated through effective implementation of microfinance. For example, what may help the refugee crisis will not help the smallholder farmers facing global climate change. Therefore, it is vital to have tailor-made solutions for each of the concerned areas. It will empower an entire generation to lead a better life”.

Mr. Syed Mamnun Quader, MD and CEO of Southtech, expressed his views post the event.

“We are happy to share this opportunity with our clients and the public. With this platform, we hoped to address and understand the scope of financial technology among MFI’s and how it is shaping the future of microcredit”.

He wrapped up by thanking everyone in attendance and by stating the wish to organize such events more often.
